WorksheetCloud live online lessons

WorksheetCloud, together with MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet, have decided to sponsor and fund an online teaching initiative. We’re calling it WorksheetCloud Live Lessons and we’re giving free, live school lessons to ALL learners in South Africa during the national lockdown. We’re initially launching our free online lessons for Grades 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Our teachers will be covering lessons in Mathematics, English and Natural Science. More grades coming soon! This means your child will have unlimited, free access to live-streamed online classroom lessons every day, starting tat 08:00 am sharp. We’re funding this live lesson project with our own money and a contribution from MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet.

For those with access to DSTV, go to Mindset TV on Channel 319. Mindset Pop has also been added on Channel 317 to offer lessons for Primary School up to Grade 9.

Alternatively, use the online resources. Expert educators have developed these resources to introduce content, concepts and skills. The videos are easy enough to be used without the input of a teacher…Perfect for learners who are attempting to learn new content.

Nal’ibali

Nal’bali strives to encourage a love for reading amongst the children of South Africa by means of storytelling. Their website has lots of local stories to read or listen to. Mzanzi Kids

The Mzanzi kids multilingual language learning App was created for children between the ages of 2 – 6 years in South Africa. It was designed to stimulate visual, speech and language literacy skills at an early age by understanding basic everyday concepts and highlighting the correct pronunciation of speech in six different languages; English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa, isiZulu, Sepedi and Setswana.
