Zanethemba Charity Foundation
Zanethemba (isiXhosa: ‘to bring hope’) is a baby haven where we provide temporary safe care for abused, abandoned or neglected children from newborn to 6 years old. We provide therapeutic services, education, nutrition, access to medical assistance and most importantly, love, in order to show children how to trust and love again.
Mihlali house
Our aim is to see vulnerable children rescued from unsafe environments marked by severe poverty. We welcome each child into a family environment in our Temporary Place of Safety. Here they receive love and care to meet all of their diverse needs until a “forever family” is found for each child.
Isithembiso babies home
Isithembiso exists so that hope can exist for abandoned or orphaned babies. We provide a stable environment for young lives that have had a difficult start, and our aim is always to see them placed in loving, secure families.

Thandusana Babies Safe Home is a safe haven for abandoned, abused and neglected babies, birth to 3 years of age. Thandusana is a temporary safe haven that aims to care for HIV infected or affected infants.
